Purpose

A structured theory library for human and AI-assisted science.

Hypothica is being built as a repository for scientific hypotheses, mathematical models and theoretical frameworks. Articles are not only stored as text: strong submissions can be converted into Hypothica Model Graphs, where assumptions, definitions, equations, claims, predictions, weak points and falsification criteria become explicit objects that AI can reason over.

The goal is not to make speculation look proven. The goal is to make early scientific ideas transparent, structured and testable enough that people and AI can improve them systematically.

Contributors provide a title, author name, maturity label, full article text and PDF. They do not need to manually fill out graph fields.

Admin + AI extraction

After review, the article can be converted into a Model Graph with assumptions, variables, equations, claims, predictions and falsification criteria.

Build on what is explicit

Because dependencies and weak points are visible, future AI workflows can compare models, find contradictions and suggest focused next steps.

Publication on Hypothica is not automatic peer review.

Publication means an idea is structured, transparent and moderated. A Model Graph makes assumptions and reasoning easier to inspect, but scientific strength still depends on evidence, reproducibility, expert criticism and external validation.
